yes, I am back!

inks: Close to Cocoa (dye and Pigment), Pumpkin Pie, Marigold Morning, Ballet Blue, Regal Rose, Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery
accessories: narrow organdy, Stampin' Dimentionals, clear embossing powder, aquapainters, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, sponges

I'm visiting for today since the baseball game today is later today and I have some breathing room! A friend requested a "I love you, Mom" card and this is what I came up with. I used a sketch from SCS #114 and chose my colors from the awesome and dependable Basic Grey line. 2 things I noted while making this card: I wish I had brown embossing powder (since I used brown ink and clear embossing powder for this one) and I found a new and easier way to clean my Aquapainters between colors. I swiped the brush right on in my stamp scrub pad. Wow! So much faster and neater than the way I did before which was to swipe it on my hand until the water was clear. Live and learn...
