a RAK thank you

stamps: Simply Said, Tagger's Dozen
inks: Cool Caribbean, Yo Yo Yellow marker, Marigold Morning, White Craft, Pumpkin Pie
cardstock: Cool Caribbean, cardstock vellum, card and brads from Colorbok
accessories: ribbon by Offray, paper piercer

Since I got the cute RAK (random act of kindness) from Kristi the other day, I made a thank you card. I bought the card as a starting board at Joann's from the $1 area they have. I never can resist colors that seem to match Stampin' Up's colors. It gets my mind spinning in the store and the merchandise is irresistible.
I also wanted to try a technique I had seen a while back on Michelle's blog a technique called Pergamano. I did a little piercing of a flower on some vellum and call it a technique. Her technique is a lot more involved, but it is a good start for a shortcut. The flowers in Simply Said seemed to fit the bill pretty good. I stamped on the vellum in white craft ink, pierced the holes, and colored the flower center with yellow on the opposite side.
Hope Kristi likes it!
